spiked | mull it over
One of the great treats for cold nights is mulled wine or cider. The warm, wintry cousin to sangria, mulled drinks may seem complicated to make (and yes, they involve more than just tossing a few ingredients over ice and shaking) but they’re really no more involved than homemade hot chocolate. The process is actually part of the fun — the scent of wine or cider and fruit and spices, heating up together over the stove is heavenly. And once you get the hang of it, you can experiment with your own mix of flavors.
