crafty vines

January 26, 2016 in homestyle, the 101 by editor

These clever paper plants were made by multi disciplinary artist and crafter, Corrie Beth Hogg. The Special Projects Designer for David Stark Design, Hogg shares her DIY secrets through tutorials published on her own blog as well as The House that Lars Built where she is a contributor. Her cartoony paper foliage is the perfect plant substitute for those lacking in green thumbs or copious amounts of sunlight (the Heart Leaf Philodendron was dreamed up when Hogg wanted greenery for her too-dark bedroom). Hogg’s how-to’s are easy-to-follow, fun to do, and supplies can be had with just a few bucks and a single trip to the craft store.
