Florals are not my thing, but I have always had a soft spot for Liberty London prints because they have such a rich history. I especially enjoy when they are modernized and used in collaboration with other brands, like the much publicized Liberty x Nike sneaker line.

So, in spite of the fact that I have never worn a combat boot or even a ditsy floral, the Liberty & Dr. Martens mash-up just tickled me. The pairing of Liberty’s delicately feminine prints and the Doc’s chunky, sidewalk stopping classics is definitely a dichotomy I can get behind. And the messenger bags are pretty sweet, too.

Not to be outdone is RetroSuperFuture, the vintage-inspired sunglasses label launched by PIG magazine Editor-in-Chief, Daniel Beckerman. SUPER has utilized several Liberty styles to kit out their Classic and Lucia model sunnies.
